I am always amazed by God's goodness and by the power of prayer. It seems like there are a lot of people in need of prayer these days so I thought it would be a good idea to ask you to add them to your prayer list:
1. My sister-in-law and her family - Her husband is deploying to Iraq in a few weeks. Please pray for his safety and for my SIL and their three boys as they serve our country as a military family.
2. My mother-in-law - she has had chronic back pain for many years. She has tried surgery and countless "procedures" to no avail and just recently had surgery again. Please pray for a quick and smooth recovery as well as elimination of pain.
3. My bff - this is a prayer request and a praise - they are adopting twin boys from China. The boys are an answer to countless prayers for so many years!! I can't even explain how much their journey is a testament to the faithfulness of God. Please pray for them as they prepare to get the boys and as they all adjust. What a precious family!
4. Our neighbor's baby (6 months) grandaughter has a heart condition that will require surgery soon. It is a very invasive surgery. Please pray for her, the doctors and her entire family.
5. Our friends K&B - they are having their third baby any day now. Please pray for a healthy baby and momma :).
If you have a prayer request, please let me know. I feel like that is my calling right now, since I am pretty much homebound with a newborn :). It's my little way of serving.
